We are the Omega Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at the University of Delaware! I am humbled to be the leader of over 100 of the brightest, most driven, supportive people I have met. I am happy you are here and have interest in joining us!
My name is Jake Ostroski and I look forward to leading this group over this calendar year. Alpha Kappa Psi has provided me with a platform to grow socially, expand my academic horizons, develop professionally, and practice leadership but most importantly be myself. Everyone looks for a home on campus and this fraternity quickly became mine. The community that has been created here is unmatched and I am so proud to be a part of it. Our focus on both the professional and social sides of the college experience allows our members to develop and mature into well rounded professionals.
We pride ourselves on our core values: Brotherhood, Unity, Knowledge, Service, and Intergity. It is through these that we have built such a strong organization and I would love nothing more than for you to be a part of it! PHILANTHROPY
Lazarus Rising
Lazarus Rising aims to effectively and efficiently combat homelessness through the provision of job placement skills. They empower their participants through personalized resume reviews, mock interviews, and job search portal navigation at absolutely no cost to either the participants or the community partners. This program model is centered on utilizing skilled volunteerism provided by university students and allocating that mission-driven labor to the places that need it the most.
Boys and Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware is part of a nationwide movement whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. They partner with school districts and charter schools to provide educational services and curriculum-based learning to supplement what children are learning in the classroom.
